Christmas in June Toy Run

The Fighters of Fire Motorcycle Club is a not-for-profit organization, consisting of first responders, paid and volunteer, across Nassau County. Each June the Fighters of Fire MC sponsors a “Christmas in June” toy run, benefitting the children at Saint Christopher-Ottilie Home, in Sea Cliff, New York. Participants bring a new, unwrapped toy to the start of the event; and by truck are delivered, behind an escort of motorcycles, fire apparatus and, of course, Santa (in his sleigh), to the residents at St. Chris’. These children are very dear to our hearts; and it is so fulfilling to see the joy on their faces. SCO Family Services has been providing shelter and care for more than a century and aiding in the hopes of a brighter future has made our efforts worthwhile. We are reaching out in the hope that you will join up with us with either a monetary and/or toy donation. Collections will be presented to St. Chris’ on June 30th, 2024. The impact of the SCO is so incredible you will truly be impressed as they strive to aid in the lives of families and children; see for yourself on their website at www.sco.org. Together we can really make a difference in these children’s lives; it’s important to us they’re not only remembered throughout the Holiday Season but all year long. Changing the life of a child, even in a small way, is the best gift one could ever give. You may have participated in the past with a donation, and we hope you can do so, again, this year.
